Included in the speakers the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Canada Border Services Agency will be represented to answer questions about the laws on the water and how to summon help when out on a boat.
While the children have fun at the Kids Zone with the Nautical Play Centre where children can build and decorate their own boat and other activities, along with paddleboat rides. One of the most exciting parts of the boat show for children is the boat contest, this is where children can build a boat prior to the boat show and when they bring it to the BC Place boat show their parents will get into the boat show free of the admission cost.
